Try the J-Tech PWM grbl 9g. It uses the S0-S255 command range for 0v to 5v on pin 11 & ground and executes the S commands it real time without any dwelling. http://jtechphotonics.com/Downloads/GRBL_J_Tech/GRBL_J_TECH.zip Since it's grbl 9g, make sure you set $14=1. We needed a new 2016 Calendar for the office, so we decided to laser engrave one on 1/8" Birch Ply.

A new version of PicEngrave Pro 5 is now available for download. Unlimited user named Profile settings are now able to be Saved/Opened for different engraved materials, Pre/PostCodes and CNC machines has been added.

It took some digging through this old thread on another forum to find the reference of our settings. It was done with Mach3 and our analog modulated dual 445nm 9mm Nichia laser diode build with 5W of total output burning power. You will have to adjust your settings to compensate for the output diffe...
