How much filament?
I'm wondering how much stuff you can print with say 2 kg of 1.75mm abs filament. When I look to order the filament, it just mentions the weight and it's very hard to judge how much I need to buy. I've looked all over but can't seem to find an answer. If it helps, try and respond by saying it can pri...

Have a look at this then too.edwardrford wrote:That's a good find! I rarely remember to look on ebay because it's so hit or miss. I've saved this guy's store and will be checking back in the next time I order materials.

DW660 Questions
This question is a bit out there, but does anybody have a picture of what the inside of the DW660 looks like? Secondly, does anybody know the diameters of the bearings that are used inside the tool and the distance that the two bearings are separated? I ask because I'm working on, what I think, is a...

Re: Pololu Pot Tweaking?
This may seem like a dumb question, but when you are adjusting the drivers, should EVERYTHING be plugged in; all motors, power from power supply, and power from the computer to the arduino?

Re: Uploading Grbl
...Another good test would be to connect to your arduino and type $ into a terminal. If it spits back some config settings, then you're good to go! -Edward I'm trying to do this, but it doesn't seem to work, probably user error. Can you tell me how I should connect to a terminal? Also, just to make...

Re: Uploading Grbl
Edward, I think your solution worked. Can you confirm how many bytes should be loaded onto the arduino? My xloader window show that 21738 bytes have been loaded. If this is correct, I think we should change the wiki to state that the baud rate for an arduino uno should be 115200 instead of 57600 lik...

Thanks for all of your suggestions, I will try these and get back to you with my findings.
Edward, have you uploaded grbl onto a UNO at all?
