Re: Uploading Grbl

Ok - I purchased a brand new arduino uno from Radio Shack. Sorry I just had to have on right now and I was walking by the store on my daily walk at the Mall of America. When I got home one of the things that I discovered is that there is no boot loader for use with a hex program installed. So I had...

I'm using xloader with the recommended baud rate of 57600. On the wiki it says it takes about 10 seconds, I've been sitting here for 20+ minutes and it still says uploading on the bottom left of the xloader window

Uploading Grbl

I've tried numerous times to get grbl to upload, but it's not working. I have an arduino uno 328p and i'm using a buildlog.net rev 3 board. Can someone post the already configured hex file that I need. Thanks, Michael

Re: Sparkfun Stepper Motor Wire Lenght

So do you guys think 24 to 26 gauge will be ok, that's all I currently have on hand. I will be using about 3 foot lengths plus the length of the wires coming from the steppers themselves.

Re: Sparkfun Stepper Motor Wire Lenght

Great thanks. What size wire have you guys been using to increase the length of the wires coming from the stepper motors?

Re: Sparkfun Stepper Motor Wire Lenght

Indeed the pictures show stranded, didn't see that. Can anyone tell me what color combinations are the two pairs?
