hah yeah , sorry if that was confusing.. The ENVIRONMENT is the software installed on the computer... The FIRMWARE is what gets flashed onto the chip... Chip comes flashed with BOOTLOADER and ATOMCNC GRBL TO MAKE CHANGES to the ATOMCNC GRBL Code all you need is to have ARDUINO ENVIRONMENT Installed...

When did i say that? Yes it does. But I myself prefer to use a simple batch file to compile and upload. Yeah, I'm gonna kill two birds with one stone. Purchase a Dremel, use it to clean up the holes quicker and have a spindle

Curious if anyone has put for the effort to strip the paint/powdercoating?
I've spent more time reaming holes than actually assembling the Shapeoko. Had I known, I wish there was a means to order "plain" plates.
Any recommendations on solevants that aren't crazy abrasive/easy to dispose of?

I started assembly today of my Shapeoko. All I lack is the 5mm tap and electronics (all should be here by Friday).
