Re: 5 Axis TB6560 3D Model, Mechanical Drawing or Datasheet?

Got home, and did a quick critical features model. (Connectors, max footprint, hole spread, and fan.)

It is in SolidWorks 2012 format.

It is downloadable here: http://grabcad.com/library/hy-tb5dv-m-5 ... controller

5 Axis TB6560 3D Model, Mechanical Drawing or Datasheet???

Looking for a datasheet, mechanical drawing, or (best case) a SolidWorks, STEP or IGES model of the board. Trying to design my enclosure accurately, and model all the wiring, and make all the drawings. Once I complete it, I will make the enclosure/electronics system public for personal use. I bought...

Re: Ideas for enclosure chassis...

My biggest problem is I can't measure the vibration, as I'd really like to put some Lord vibration isolators on it, but you have to know the input frequency to decouple it.

Re: Ideas for enclosure chassis...

I'm considering building the enclosure underneath the actual shapeoko workbench, with my monitor on a swing arm, and rack mounting the PC underneath that. I am sort of concerned about vibration though...

Re: How to configure Mach 3 with Shapeoko?

I don't believe you can use the arduino based controllers out of the box. The cheapest way is a TB6560 from ebay - I grabbed a 4 axis controller for beans. (To allow for dual Y drive.) I'm considering picking up a SuperPID for spindle control of my DW660. http://www.vhipe.com/product-private/SuperPI...

I've done it in the past - I just make sure to state where I got the info from. Never had an issue.

Ideas for enclosure chassis...

Currently have my electronics in a shoebox. Picked up a bunch of parts for my electronics enclosure from work - crap load of the Tyco Miniature Circular Plastic Connectors (though I'm trying to figure out how to install the contacts manually without the tool.) (Panel mount receptacles, free hanging ...

Re: How to mount DW660?

Anyone still cutting mounts? Got my machine moving around, but my only spindle is a DW660 since I fried my dremel working a little too hard with it on another project.

Can send whatever it costs. (I'm in south east AZ, USA.)

Re: Easy Hold Down Table

Awesome idea!!!

One thing you can do to fill holes in MDF and restore it is mix a little elmers glue and a little handful of sawdust into a paste, and then fill the holes with it. It gets the wood good enough to put screws back into.

Re: Dual Drive Kit?

All, We've been working on some stuff over at inventables to both make finding all the shapeoko parts you need easier, and combining the parts with instructions so everyone has the same base level of information. This platform will also be used to showcase projects people create. The parts required...
