Re: Ring Light

It happens. I was designing a ring light in Visio to print out on a transparency to use on a photosensitive PC board. A coworker who bought these for his car told me about them, otherwise I would have never known about them either.

That is a good idea. I actually am planning on using LED ring lights like this . I bought these in 3 or 4 different diameters for lighting up objects for macro shots, but the light spill pattern is not wide enough to work for my macro needs. These project light straight out, normal to the ring, wher...

Re: SO3 End Mill Selections for Different Projects

The only thing missing in that list of endmills is possibly something LARGE diameter, for skimming the wasteboard. From the website: The SolidWorks Student Edition includes: SolidWorks 2014-2015 SolidWorks 2015-2016 SolidWorks 2016-2017 SolidWo...

*Gasp!* :o

Okay, good plan. I do have a few projects I am working on in SolidWorks. I guess I can pay attention to the interior pockets and make them work with the bits I have.

SO3 End Mill Selections for Different Projects

Okay, this forum has been very helpful preparing me for my SO3 that I ordered back in December. Below is a list of bits and collets I have purchased. If someone would be kind enough to let me know if I need to buy anything else for the projects I have planned, that would be great. I plan on using my...
