Here's how I did mine.... Routes right next to power cable and the electronics are super easy to remove.... No soldering but you do have to join two wires. Got a little further in the superpid, it's now at home in an old rc car charger case. I had a friend help with the heatsink. Here's my dilemma.... I will be cutting carbon fiber. Not the best dust to have floating around electronics. If I don't need to fan cool the pid I would prefer not to. If I do...

I went with the Porter Cable 450, and found it left me a lot more room to remove the entire module. I used a collar to clamp the wires that previously went to the board, and just took out the entire unit. This left me with a lot more room in the rear near the power cord, I used a 1/4 bit and a 1/4" ...
