Re: Waste Board Dimensions
....the wasteboard I'm fabricating. . . Intended to be laser cut from 1/4" 6061 Aluminum, Tapped & Threaded for M6 Helicoils. Chris, Any updates on your fabrication of this piece? Also, if this is intended to be cut from .25" 6061 Alum, how do the holes for attaching the stock SO3 base rails work? ...

Re: Z axis Belt - Tension (am I doing this right?)
Out-of-spec belts...so a BOM issue apparently. A supplier supplying an out-of-spec (in this case too long) product is not a problem w/ the B.O.M. Sorry, Will. It was a generic, overarching reference to my BOM comment that mentioned several possibilities under that umbrella. Rather than being incorr...

Re: Z axis Belt - Tension (am I doing this right?)
Not trying to be negative, but this DOES seem to be an issue for a lot of folks and I'm concerned that I will end up in the sam boat. With everyone being told to contact Carbide support, what has their response been? I'm curious as to the root cause... Design flaw? BOM issue with either incorrectly ...

Re: Upgrade Parts!
They are sort of sprinkled around the forums...and I had to ask for MakerSlide Europe's design files directly (unde their specific license terms). So, I have a good collection I've been amassing through hours of crawling through the Wiki and associated forum threads. I suppose I can zip them up and ...

Re: Upgrade Parts!
I have several sets of the MakerSlide Europe open end plates en route at the moment. I will report back as to their viability with the standard ShapeOko and modifications. I plan on having some of the v3 motor plates and some variation of edward's and the European end plates (which I will likely add...

Re: New X-axis plates
Thanks! I appreciate the info. By the way, I ordered a couple of the upgrades (z-axis related) this morning...hopefully the order/payment got through to you successfully....unless somebody else actually handles these items and I misunderstood.
Thanks again.

Re: NEMA 23 Z-axis Kit
Any suggested specs on an appropriate Nema 23 motor to use with a ShapeOko that will likely have most of the suggested mods incorporated...including scaling the x and y dimensions? Or, even better, some links to particular options from reputable online dealers. :-) Thanks in advance for any advice.....

Re: New X-axis plates
Out of curiosity, have the designs been updated to correct this "flaw" for folks wanting to use Nema 23? The most recent version of the design zip file has a "v3" version suffix on it.
Thanks!

Re: Upgrade Parts!
@edward Given that there were issues with the Inventables-procured batch, have there been any additional modifications to the design files (as a result) since the "v3" suffixed zip file you posted earlier in this topic thread? If so, can you make the latest and greatest files available either here o...

Re: Z axis is binding
Yes, I have access to a 60 watt Epilog Legend 24x36....more than capable. I must have missed the second page of replies in this topic about the trim pot. I will look into that as well. It seems like the binding occurs (on mine) when it's the z is down in the lower part of its travel....which made me...
