I actually had an issue where occasionally, depending on the the specific motion of the cut, the power cable would be left in a position to trip the limit switch. It took me two or three runs to notice it because it didn't happen on the first pass.

Has anyone tried stepping this down with a 5v regulator (e.g. 7805) or does that cause issues?
