Your setup seem quite tidy and nice to me. Mains are not that scary if you separate it from lower voltage cabling and mark it well. This will also reduce noise and problems related to EMI/RF as your controller is not shielded. What you could do to make it even more tidy is wrap the mains wires in so...

Sadly it seems this could still be many other things than a bCNC problem. You probably have to narrow it down more. - Have you tried other gcode senders? - Do you have a difference PC you could use just for testing, like a laptop? - It could be static electricity as I have had that problem myself, b...

Could you list names or link to the relay and CNC shield?
Only relay that can be driven directly from Arduino is SSD relays..
