Re: GlowForge aiming on the Shapeoko/GRBL with UGS?

I have seen that there are more than one solution for zeroing, but as UGS has visualization of the toolpath already, it could (I suppose) display/project the toolpath directly on the video of the stock. That would be neat.. :) If it was possible to set a "no mill/move zone" around work-piece claps t...

Just saying that using the v-bit totally has it's place, but if you ware filling in the cavity, only th...

Re: Soundproof enclosure design questions

I am very happy with my enclosure, but the need for dust collection forces me to use a vacuum - which now is the part that makes me use ear protection running longer jobs, not the spindle itself.

Re: Grbl doc updates

Ok after trying to learn more about arduino, I'm still having issues. I downloaded the zip and commented out the line. Saved the file and did the upload according to the grbl instructions. Using the example file. It went through the process and after a few seconds it confirms upload complete. None ...

Re: fusion 360 is AWESOME!!!

It is free for startups for 12 months: http://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/try-buy After that, you will have to pay $25/$40 a month? I would like to use something like this, but I am afraid they will change policy after some...
