Re: 2 Profiles, first one works, second one suddenly goes ma

it seems that overheating is the right direction. I used a fan on the shield and was able to make the first part without errors. I am going to repeat this to make sure but at least.
What i do not understand: Is there something wrong because the drivers overheat that fast??

thanks a lot

Even more surprising: My first attempt included three of these crosses. Every one with an inner cross and an outer c...

Everything is going smooth and suddently the machine is going wild and driving through the workpiece as you can see in the picture below. It all occured while profiling the outer cross. While using a pen everything worked fine but now as i installed the shapeoko on its holding plate and installed the dremel there is a new noise/sound when the shapeoko is moving. It sound a little bitt like a jack-hammer ...

Re: CamBam, wrong size (about 50%) when sent to machine

ok i am not sure if i understood all the choices and possibilities but: Changing the $0 and $1 parameters (doubling to: $0=87.489 and $1=87.489) worked : ). I use exactly the 42BYGHM809 you were pointing at together with a grbl shield. And finally the machine would like to say something: Foto.JPG :-...

CamBam, wrong size (about 50%) when sent to machine

Hey all, i am playing around with cambam (trial) as CAM Software for my eshapeoko. I understood the basics of the software (at least i think so) and now i have a little problem: Everything i create in cambam is smaller when being sent to the shapeoko (still with a pen in it). I changed all the units...

makercam.com > saw tooth effect on curves

Hey : ) i only finished my shapeoko testrun today and so i am still very inexperienced. I tried makercam.com with an illustrator / inkscape file i made before. I made a testrun with a pen and everything curvy/round looks very baad (lots of saw tooths) while e.g. a star looks great. It seems this is ...
