AC PWM Controller for DW660?

Different sources suggest that AC PWM control is possible/is unfeasible. What do you think about something like this for controlling the speed on our Dewalts: AC 50V-220v 10A 13 KHz PWM Motor Speed Control Controller.

I've been wondering the same thing. The website says: "Estimated delivery is last week of September/1st week of October," so I'm getting a little worried. That being said, I also purchased my X3 controller from Roy and couldn't be more pleased with the quality or functionality. If anyone could make ...

Did your kit have the new upgraded motor plates and x-axis plates? The Q&A at the Inventables website seems to suggest they are included.

I wonder if you could use Misumi's "blind parallel joint" ( HLJ5 ) to fasten the two makerslides together. From my reading of the diagrams in the catalog ( pages 2401 and 2402 ), it seems all you would need to do is drill the "L holes" into one of the Makerslide pieces and then bang in these pieces....
