Re: StepperX: New complete Hardware GRBL solution.

Self made and search on the ShetchUp website, there are many parts available. I will post them here for you. It is not that difficult to make your own components.

Re: StepperX: New complete Hardware GRBL solution.

Hi xpix, Why i must use 16 or 24mil wires? The ITEAD can handle the wires in 8mils. But ok, i will give a try ... u mean the crystal must be closer to the controller? 16 to 24 mils can be run 4 times under the controller. See my design. I use only 24 mils for better continuity. You can not break the...

Re: StepperX: New complete Hardware GRBL solution.

Hi xpix, Use 16 or 24 mil wire for your signals. Don't use 90 degrease turns. It's better to use 45 degrease. Place the crystal as close as possible to the controller. Try to isolate the crystal and capacitors from the rest. Use the AK500 for the screw connectors. Place them against each other. Make...

Re: Power Supply

I bought my PSU at http://www.Servershop24.de . Two DL380 (ESP113) units will provide you 24V if set in series. But you need to do some changes on one of the PSU's.The ground or null, on the 12v side, must be floting from the ground of the main side. To do this just isolate the pcb on the output sid...

There are different sizes and lengths. Search on the similar product page for more headers. But you must have a vat number to order.

Re: StepperX: New complete Hardware GRBL solution.

I think you're wrong about tantalum caps being smaller in this case. For 47 uF at 35 V, aluminum electrolytic capacitors are quite a bit smaller. I have some 8 mm diameter and 5 mm tall, which would be perfect for this application. Your right, a panasonic 35V 47u +/-20% is just 5mm x 8mm and cheape...

Re: StepperX: New complete Hardware GRBL solution.

Use tantalum capacitors. They are more expensive but smaller than caps. About €6,50 for one capacitor. And if you want to go real small. Just use SMD components. A good cool block on top of the IC will work to. I did not find how much the C/w value of the package is. Then you can calculate witch coo...

Re: External Reset Button for GRBL Shield

I'm not sure you actually need a resistor on the reset line. Just short the RESET pin to GND. You need a pull-up resistor of 4k7 - 10k if internally the pull-up's are disabled. If the internal pull-up's are enabled a extra set of resistors is not necessary, but can do no harm. You can have a 100nF ...

Re: PCB All in One for Pololu drivers

thank you for sharing your board design with us, thanks! No problem. I hope you can use it. And the test with the optocoupler went well. It's a tight fit. But it helps to save costs if you want to order the PCB. Now I have to wait for my own eShapeOko. I know it's in batch five. And then have to le...

PCB All in One for Pololu drivers

In a other topic I have placed some pictures of my new design. This design includes all capabilities of the 4X's stepper shield. Including two relays, limit switches connections, control buttons (internal as external) and four pololu stepper driver mounts. As an extra it has it own 12-35V to 5V logi...
