bjb is right ! It depends where your 2D test is in the CamBam coordiante system. IF your text is in the lower left quadrant (top view), then value will all be negatice. It is hard to visualize how the Z-axis belt is working if the carriage were to be truly free to move. Even in the beer can "demonstration", the amount of downward force a screw can produce would be significantly higher than a belt system.
