Re: Build Log 1709F

Well, I took the "plunge" today. I am sure i'm the first to you that terminology. ;) Ran an actual job with the Dremel and a bit that was shipped with the kit. Still nervous and learning, I played it safe and milled my name into Dow (Blue) foam. Decided to only go down 1/8" so as to not ruin my spoi...

I completed the build this past weekend and showed the wife. She thought it was cute". I explained to her what this type of tool is ca...

That is a shot of the temporary wiring, simply for testing to ensure all was working. I am in the process of cleaning up the sp...

Honestly, the kit is incredibly easy to assemble, however there is SOLID HELPFUL information in the Wiki that makes things go smoothe...

Re: Excited!!

Tracking indicated the package will arrive tomorrow afternoon!! Be nice to get it prior to the weekend to get started on the build. The said package has arrived or still in progress? What is the current status of the package? Have been testing and tweaking all afternoon. Basically built other than ...

Re: ??? Inverted ???

Tried changing wires, etc. Finally got it to step in the proper direction. The Wiki is not current in regards to what setting to change; states 7 - in this version of code it's 6. Anyway, finally got it and now trying to figure out how best to attach my pen to the Z axis. Taking some good notes of s...

??? Inverted ???

I've wired all items up per the Wiki, but still not getting the desired results; all Axis are backwards. I have upload 08.c to GRBL, same results. I have read the forum threads about inverted and backwards printed - did not resolve my issue. This is the most current kit. Anyone have any insight? htt...
