Bit Setter Failure
I am having problems with Bit Setter. So, I was just beginning a project, my router came to the front center and Bit Setter asked for tool, which I inserted. Bit Setter did it's thing, checking the tool. I then used my Touch Pad to work our X, Y, Z axis. Just after finishing this we had a power outa...

Re: Editing an SVG to clean it up
This is a follow-up to my own post. I still have not figured out how to do this, however, I have found a better SVG image that does not present this problem. So, my issue is resolved.

Editing an SVG to clean it up
I am wondering if anyone can help me edit an SVG file to clean it up. In fact the file is the SVG of the U.S. Navy logo. There are nodes that need to be joined and some that need to be deleted. How to describe this: First, imagine you have two half circles, one inside the other, and that they are jo...

Official United States Navy Logo
Does anyone know where I can find a top notch official United States Navy Logo SVG file that I can bring in to my Carbide Create software? I have found several such images, but when I run the simulation the results are less than stunning. So far the best SVG file I have found, when I run the simulat...

General V carve question/probelm
Hi: I am wondering if anyone can shed some light on a problem I am having with a V carve. There are times I carve stars into things and it seems that the starts almost never come out the same. I cannot figure out why. I use the same 60 degree V bit. As far as I can tell, which to be honest as a newb...

Advice on carving image
I want to cut an image using a 30 V carve bit. When I run this in simulation mode 95% of it looks ok, but the rest not so good. I am hoping that someone else might run this in simulation mode and offer some advice on how to clean this up. You will note in particular at the bottom of the image there ...

Re: Fonts
Hey ya"ll my son, an EE, fixed my problem. I installed the font, but apparently I needed to install it for "all users" rather than simply clicking the install button. So, I am up an running. Sorry to have bothered ya'll.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Plaque Making
I am wondering if any of you out there who have experience at sign or plaque making can offer some advice. I've been trying to make a small 8.5 x 11 plaque for over a month and am having so many problems I hardly know where to begin. However, two of my biggest problems are: 1) Lettering - I've been ...

Re: Z Axis retraction
Thanks so much for your reply. First, let me begin by saying that in the file I have the retract height at .21 as I have all of my other files and if I run them the router retracts as it should. Second, a few days ago I installed the Carbide 3D bit setter and since then the Z axis does retract. Toda...
