does it show adialog box inbetween both passes, or does it just continue automatically with the second pass? It cuts like 3/4s then goes the other way 100% the finishes the last 1/4 if that makes any sense. I dont have time right now but later this week i'll get a video up. My current settings anyt...

I have been using 4mm/sec @ 10ma with air assist making one pass.

Thanks i'll try that. I have been cutting wood at 10mm and 15ma so i thought i could speed it up for acrylic. Is thay for 1/4 or 1/8?

Re: Cheap Chinese Lasers (CCL)

Ok tried just a circle and still did 2 passes. Any other ideas?

Also what is a good acrylic setting? I tried 20mm at 15amp and it took both passes to cut through. Sides are awesome though.

Re: Cheap Chinese Lasers (CCL)

Anyone know how to get my laser to stop taking two passes per cut? For some reason it always takes two passes.

Re: What software SHOULD I be using

Not sure which build but it uses that xQuaztz thing and I often find it doesn't import DXF's very well. So then I have to import them into vCarve save as SVG, then open in inkscape. I would stick with AI as I use PS and Lightroom a ton for photography so I would be familiar with the feel of AI. Real...
