I am new to all this and was wondering if there was a place I could go on line *I have looked and can't find anything* that would have some general speed and feed rates for the shapeoko 2 with some didn't materials?

Can I just use amber acrylic for a shield? Was doing to door on my encloser with acrylic and would like to use a color that is effective for the laser also.....

How to Update grbl firmware from 0.8 to 0.9

More than likely I will just make some type of mount to add the laser to my current configuration with some type of quick connect type mount and leave the spindle permanently mounted......But it will run with the same GRBL I'm running for the Shapeoko? I'm a little out of my element with these thing...

So how would this work? Can I run the laser and the mill on the same machine? Is it going to be a big deal to switch back and forth between the two?

Lol....no its just a led strip running all the way around.....It's just reflecting of the wall.....
