NEMA 23 Z-axis for shapeoko 2

Hello all,
I just finished my mechanical shapeoko 2 kit build last night. I made a plate for my Z-axis to be able to use the Nema 23 motors that I had laying around. The plate was based on the nema 17 to 23 adapter from Makerbot Thingiverse by someone named Eric.

I used a piece of AL about 1/8" thick. It is square and a little bigger than the Nema 23 Motor, so it is not a cross shape like in the link. I did that so the outer holes would have material all the way around and not just half as shown. I also punched out the inner Nema 17 holes so I could tap them to a M3 which the stand off's are. I did not bother to cut out the recess for the motor plate as shown in the drawing. I will post a picture showing it later after I take some pics.

Here is a picture of what it looks like assembled. Sorry I did not think to take a picture before it was put together.
