Hello World!
Hello World!
I ran hello world and got this result. I try to figure out why the second "O" is not thick as the first "O".
Does this mean, I should work more on tuning the machine
(I took the photo in an angle).

It looks like your X-Axis may be slightly misaligned (higher on the left than the right).
You can try measuring it at the extreme ends to check it. It can be adjusted by altering the connection between the Carriage and the X-Axis MakerSlides, or by altering the connection between the Y-Axis plates and the work area rails.

Thanks Rob. I will check that. What bothered me most was number "2" is thick. I made sure the pen is rigid, however will check it again just in case.

It could also mean your waste board is not flat.

My suspicion is that the ``2'' is on the other board which is the second half of the wasteboard, and that you don't have the two boards tightened up evenly, and that the one on the right is higher than the other.

Seems you are almost correct Will. I found two boards are little bit warped so that center line (where two boards meet) slightly lower.
. I can assure you I've tightened all the screws well.
I'm pulling my hair to figure out why that happens, my best guess is uneven thickness of the wasteboard, not sure it is a possibility.
On top of that I believe my X axis is slightly lower in the positive side, I don't have a precise tool to measure that, any suggestions please?

Two options:
- buy a dial indicator (or calipers) and work up a way to mount and measure using the precision tool
- just ``tram'' the work-surface (see the wiki)

Finally a success. Thanks everyone for the input. I've squared the machine from bottom up
. Started from the waste board, installed Y axis, then placed Z assembly. Removed bottom wheels to do that. I had to use Aluminum foil shim to make X axis parallel to the front extrusion. I'm hoping to submit a build-log after cleaning the mess.

Yes, the dial indicator is a huge help in achieving precision --- fascinating to read about how that was initially achieved in books such as _Foundations of Mechanical Accuracy_.
