inventables has spacers for not too much money. A couple 10 packs would cover the entire machine. The only reason I haven't gotten any yet is the shipping cost to Canada is ridiculous. I miss when it was $8.95 flat rate.

Yeah, the shipping costs are a pain --- almost as bad as the gouging at Home Depot / Lowes.

I need 4 more to complete my machine, but they'll wait until the next time I take it apart --- maybe could use 2 additional to replace the stacks of washers I'm using on the motor side, but that would require adjusting the pulley location.

I had good luck with http://www.aluminumspacers.com/ Shipping is reasonable.

I bought the following and they fit M5 screws:

Aluminum Spacer 3/8 OD x .219 ID x 1/2 Long
Aluminum Spacer 3/8 OD x .219 ID x 1/4 Long

Switching to metal spacers is probably the best bang for the buck upgrade you can do.

I've used aluminumspacers.com too.

Hopefully I'll put everything back together again soon and finish up the wiring.

I bought from aluminumspacers.com too. For some extra money and a minimum order quantity, they'll make any spacers you want, and the quality is excellent.

Yeah, I've been eyeing the carbon arrows I've been finding lost in the woods at the range where I shoot and which aren't being picked up from the shed I've been placing them in and contemplating cutting them up --- will probably start keeping a log and giving people 30 days to claim them.
