Hi Edward...
i'm interested in the v2 Motor Plates upgrade!!!
As I mentioned in another posting, I have an idea for eliminating the Z axis carriage.
so if you can, put me down for 3 of these plates. (I believe its the new red v2 motor mount plates)
I need 3 as i want to try the Z axis fix I mentioned in @ Microwavesafes posting about twisting X azis makerslide:
http://www.shapeoko.com/forum/viewtopic ... 4145#p4145

I have most of the parts for a second Larger ShapeOko I want to build ( approximately 2'x4')
and the motor mounts are hard to get ...

Thanks
For all the hard work, and of course the Shapeoko

Dude, put me down! I'm not even going to extend the X just yet, but I have a couple long pieces of wood that I need to put some counter sinks and notches at the ends and this would totally make it easier to do that.

This project, your work, continually impresses me. Tons of kudos!

I wonder if we could get a running tally on how many people want these.

Edward seems to have dropped off as people showed interest. But if there's enough interest, they could be cut at a place like Big Blue Saw http://www.bigbluesaw.com/ and we could get over the amount needed to waive the setup charge. (water jet would also solve the bending issue of a press)

I've had things made there during their sales and it's a good deal once you get over the setup charge. The parts are really beautiful.

New X-axis plates

I wouldn't say that I dropped off :-) I think I've been logged into the forum since it opened.

Really no reason to reply any further than I have as I don't have the plates yet.

But, I'll post up a message in the for sale section once I take delivery of the order. Last I checked it was supposed to be last week, which makes me think it will be early this week. I'll try to pin them down for an exact date.

Oh, cool...sorry Edward. I just wasn't sure if those new plates were going forward or what was going on.

Guess what came in the mail today! I'm going to spend some time tomorrow night and actually get these boxed up. and figure out what the shipping cost will be for the motor mount plates. As soon as that's done, I'll post up a link to a page on the site that has a paypal button so you can basically 'check out' with your order. This way I won't have to sift through emails trying to figure out who got what and where to ship it!
