That relay needs and active-high signal to enable it. GRBL outputs an active-low signal on the coolant control pin (A3). You can use the same inverter trick I posted not long ago (that was for the spindle), using both relays on that module; or you can just use the NC contact, because having the vacuum running is not a safety issue.

If you can't find my post with the schematic, let me know and I'll dig it up.

The inverter trick you posted the last time was for me so I have it.

Just to be certain if I dont use the inverter trick do I connect A3 pin to channel 1 , ground to ground. What else am I missing

Sorry, I forgot it was for you, but the relay board looked very familiar. :)

You also need Arduino +5V to relay board VCC.

I'm about to do the exact same thing. How did this work out for you?

I will be using the inverter add on found at http://www.shapeoko.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4630 as I want it to work only when the arduino is in use.
