Hey guys I am having some supplier problems for the ACME screws and I just moved cross country.
I have my shop about 75% set up and I am going to get my Shapeoko back up and running in the next couple of days.
NEMA 23 kits, DW660 mounts, and mid span supports should be in stock in a day or two.
I have a couple of dust shoes almost finished as well.
The ACME kits are going to be at least 2-3 weeks.
Shapeoko #Classified some of the bolts may be original parts.
Shapeoko 1 # ???? Stainless plates, still in the box.
Shapeoko 2 # 3926 not stock
Shapeoko 3 # 0003

IC,

Thanks for the update. I received the DW660 mount yesterday and got everything mounted up perfectly. Thank you. Looking forward to picking up a dust shoe as well when they're back in stock.

Hey IC,

I'm interested in purchasing the ACME-Z axis kit as well once you are back up and running. I keep checking shapeoko.com everyday hoping they are back up for sale :P

Its going to be at least 2 weeks and probably 3 before I get the next shipment of ACME screws.
My previous supplier seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet.
The last order I received from them had over 10% of the screws bent and a few more marred with grinder marks or burrs.
They were supposed to send replacements but now they are not responding to email and their phone number is disconnected.
So I found a new supplier and am waiting for a new shipment.

IC,

Not sure if you were aware, but McMaster carries ACME threaded rod. They can also do custom services for reasonably sized orders, and have real customer service department that isn't disconnecting the phone anytime this decade. Might be worth a shot...

Best,
Sam
