I got two packages as well, and I'm sure I checked ship complete, and the shipping charges were reasonable. It took over a week after I had the materials for the charge to show though.

I just looked on my invoice, and there is a C for ship complete on it. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

That seems odd then, that they would send it as two packages. Hopefully you aren't charged shipping twice.

Got the little one, contained all of the brackets and nuts I ordered, so I guess the extrusions will be in the big box. The big box is stuck in the warehouse with no delivery estimate....

My card got charged, CDN$188 = US$167, so the invoice they sent me was correct minus the $150 discount.

When you say minus the $150 discount, do you mean it has already been applied, or it has not been applied yet?

It seems strange for them to charge your card for the full amount and then later (I assume) apply the discount.

Edit: What I do notice that is strange is that for sales tax (for me, in Ontario, 13% HST), they charge it in USD, which means we're then hit with the conversion.

Doesn't seem right to me.

My card was initially authorized for the full amount, but not charged. Then the authorization was removed, and I was emailed an invoice that had the full amount plus shipping. The discount only showed up once my credit card was actually charged.

Confusing, yes, but still a good deal at the end of the day.

Hey gang... I've been on vacation so I haven't had the chance to watch this post as closely as I'd like. Enraged is right, it's a crappy process we have. But at the end of the day, it's a good deal. Takes a lot of trust to believe you'll get charged a different amount than the invoice. If you guys have issues, let me know. I might not get back to you right away (like, within the hour), but I do reply to every email I get. Also, one of my team mates, Brooke, is pitching in as well.

If you need something, email us:

me - cstraetz@misumiusa.com
Brooke - bbartos@misumiusa.com

Cheers, and thanks for all the good, honest, feedback.

Carey

Any plans on doing a similar promo in the future? Have you done it in the past? One of the guys I work with was considering ordering, but he might not get to it before the end of the month.
