Hiii all
I have a zen toolworks, they are pretty good, i have the 7x12 3D with fast F8 ball screws, mine is rigged to do both milling and printing, i have a milling head and a printing head i have to put on for each. My printing heads are printed copies of the printrbot alu extruder, with a j-head slung under it. Bolted to a piece of 2x2 inch L shaped aluminium extrusion, so i can raise and lower the head, and detach it as required.

Has anybody heard anything about being able to purchase this (outside of the Kickstarter)? I sent an inquiry from the website, but haven't heard back, and read through their forum, but nothing jumps out at me.

The only recent news (that interested me) was that somebody built a bracket to attack the laser-head to their SO3/Dewalt 611 (link here). That is the type of solution I am interested in, so I can carve something [with router] and then quickly switch over to using the laser (without dismounting spindle/mounting laser/dismounting etc......).

Anyway, I'm still very interested in this but they aren't really doing themselves a favour by not advertising future release dates, etc. I'm not sure about anybody else, but to me the website is... different. Looks fancy, but hard to read anything, and there is no real information there (other than link to Kickstarter (which is over)) and a YouTube video with no sound.

We are currently working on two fronts one is our retail site. We are hoping to have it up in a less then two weeks. The bigger thing is a new rev of the software as the current software has been out in the wild with our Kickstarter supports for about a 4 months and we want to address all the bugs before we post.
Thanks for your interest

Our new PicLaser image to gcode program is now avaliable for sale: http://jtechphotonics.com/?product=picl ... sw-license

This months Promotion includes a Free license of PicFRC with your purchase of PicLaser.

Don't let the program name fool you. It can be used to generate gcode for spindle photo engraving in wood, or making Lithophanes also.
