you are not alone here .
I ordered some motor mount plates from him on nov 17 .
nothing happened
I pestered him here and by PM
he did contact me two weeks ago (or thereabouts )
he did apologized and offered to get the plates to me and pay back the 25 bucks .
I asked him to keep the money and send four end plates to which he agreed .
he mentioned that the last production run was not enough to fill the last four orders.
that makes mine and I guess yours being two of them.
now I still have not heard from him
this whole project has been put on hold now
for 60 days
or two months
or 16% of a year.

It would be cool if someone could use their own Shapeoko mill to make these plates out of aluminum. I would try, but need to finish some upgrades first, before I start milling aluminum again.

I'm guessing that Inventables is working on offering this as something you can purchase based on the amount of radio silence we've had from Edward on these plates.

I hope they do go up for sale again as I've got a set of extrusion waiting for plates to attach to.

I'm going to have similar end plates (my own design, different approach to anchoring the belt) in my store in a few days. Unfortunately, shipping to the US isn't cheap as the plates are heavy, 4mm stainless steel, so it doesn't make a lot of sense to order them from me...

Yes, the radio silence has been unnecessary and long. Sorry all, I dropped the ball for a few customers during the last ordering period and wanted to get them squared away before moving on to the next.

Jimmy's assumption is correct. I'm moving these parts over to inventables, where they are really good at fulfilling orders and keeping things in stock. If all goes well, we should have these available in the next couple of weeks.

The big question now is how to get them plated? Raw steel? Zinc? Flat Black? My feeling is to just go with raw steal or maybe just primed? Any suggestions are welcome.

I'd love to see them already painted or anodized but I have a rattle can so I can do it if I need to ;)

Any idea on pricing?

Au natural, please.

It'll be cheaper, won't slow down manufacturing, and will allow finishing if desired.
