Sounds like it was for you. I'm not using a DeWalt though... ;)

I have it and the fan on a different outlet and a power strip and it is spotty at best. I think all my outlets in the garage are on the same breaker so the next test is to run the cord inside to a different plug.

But back on topic - anyone figure out carbides connection to this? First step in getting the machines out to different stores?
