Buildlog Stepper Shields

Post by edwardrford » Fri Apr 20, 2012 3:33 am

Hi All,

I have a couple of the newer buildlog stepper shields for sale. It's just the boards, not the components. These are the boards that support dual Y drives. They are $12 each, which includes shipping domestically. If you're out of the States, we'll figure out what postage will be and you can pay the difference.

If you're interested send me an email or PM and I'll save one for you.

I'm interested in one of these. I'd send a PM about it, but it seems I'm not authorized to use the message system here. What's the criteria to be allowed to send a PM?

I plan to use the dual Y drive when I get my kit from Inventables. Other than the lack of availability, the buildlog stepper shield should be perfect. I don't mind ordering components, so the raw board suits me fine.

I was wondering what you plan to include with the inventables kit, this shield or grblshield?

Hi Edward,
If there is really the grbl-shield included in the invantables kit, you should update your wiki parts list. Because there is the buildlog shield with the pololu drivers listed.

The wiki will be updated to include the grblshield as we get closer to the ship date of the inventables kitsm

However, there are still a considerable amount of users who purchased the kit prior to the inventables deal that will need that information to complete their builds.

Odds are there will end up being two wiki sections related to assembly. I think it's important to keep the legacy data available, if for nothing other than posterity. Along with having the new/relavant information readily available.
