scale issue

Post by kurt » Mon Jan 25, 2016 12:18 am

Just set up my new SO3 :D
Having issues with scale,
In carbide create I create a drawing say 4" x 4" square and when I try to cut it in carbide motion it comes out 1/2 the size it should be. Any ideas ?
other than the obvious work around ( make everything twice as big )

Also the test carbide create file seems to have come out 1/2 size too 2.25" x 4" ?

thanks,

Kurt

I followed the instructions but ... typing L in CM brings up seemly endless list of code lines with no response when typing M after. Type M first brings up the dialog window but typing $$ and hitting the send button appears to do nothing. does not bring up any further place where I can change the $100-$102 etc values to 40. Not sure how to resolve this. FYI I'm running the Mac version OS 10.10.5

There have been a number of reports of problems w/ more recent OS versions.

Can't help, since I got off the upgrade train a long while ago (and if I had a choice, I'd be running OPENSTEP 4.2 on a Fujitsu Stylistic ST-4121).

E-mail support@carbide3d.com --- hopefully they'll be able to work this out, and post the specifics of how newer OS versions should be handled.
