Copyright for Forum posts? Okay to copy to wiki?

Post by WillAdams » Mon Feb 11, 2013 5:36 pm

What is the user agreement for the Forums here?

Is there an explicit granting of permission to allow copying to the wiki? I've been making a _lot_ of Forum links, but that's getting kind of old and repetitive, and doesn't read nicely in the wiki.

Hopefully I'll be cutting this evening, so will be able to add more from direct experience, but there's a lot on the Forums which really should be on the wiki.

I don't think there would be any problems porting forum posts over to the Wiki.
Just make sure to give proper credit where it is due.

Okay. I've started doing this, and will probably begin linking images against files on the forum side of the house unless told not to....

I've done it in the past - I just make sure to state where I got the info from. Never had an issue.
