Can we please add a TB6560 Thread to the Need Help category?

Post by JuiceBox » Thu Aug 15, 2013 1:31 am

Can we please add a TB6560 Driver board to the "Need Help?" Forum Category? I really want to use this board but I keep having to look in 1000 different places for help. Something that would centralize it would be great! Thanks!

While you're at it, perhaps one for Smooth Stepper and the Mach3 Usb Motion Card (AKZ250) as well maybe

Thanks
Brian

Are you having a specific problem the the TB6560? I use one and had a terrible time getting it to behave, it's been good since I figured it out though. I know several other people use them on here as well. CNCzone has a lot of good info on those too, that's where I got the info to get mine working right.

You are aware that simply adding a TB6560 category won't add people who can actually respond to your questions about it, aren't you? :) I'd say the TB6560 is rare enough with Shapeoko users that it does not justify its own section. If you ask in the general Electronics section and nobody answers, it may be because nobody of the few people who have TB6560s and read this forum regularly have encountered your problem.

The Smooth Stepper and the other thing are even less frequently used.

I've got a TB6560 controller. When was first searching here for help, I simply searched for TB6560. Agreed with others, don't think there is a critical mass here to get a dedicated forum to discuss. Just search.

I use/used one of these controllers.
If you have questions about using it with Mach3 I may be able to help.

There are a few variations on the TB6560 board.
Which one do you have?
Also what pinouts are giving you problems?
