Section for projects?

Post by jsbannis » Wed May 16, 2012 11:04 pm

It seems like the one of the coolest parts of a community like this is seeing all the stuff that other people have done. I know when I used to frequent the BYOAC forum I was mildly addicted to seeing others' shiny creations.

I'm not quite clear on the purpose of the "Build Logs" section, but it seems like, at least for a while, it will mostly be full of Shapeoko build-ups and improvements. I'm all for that, but it might be beneficial to have separate sections for "Look I built/improved my Shapeoko!" and "Look what I made with my Shapeoko!".

Not saying it should definitely be added, because there's also the balance of cluttering up the main page, but might be worth discussion.

While I am waiting for the delivery of my machine I can only double check my wire plugs so many times. I too would very much like to see some of the projects others have done.

I think its a great idea

Good idea!

There have been a few things posted. In the wiki, there were a couple belt anchor improvements.

If I get a little cooperation from PhlatScript, I'll post my new pen holder.
