I think it's safe to leave IE8 broken.

That's what I was thinking.

Okay, I've got one further improvement I'm trying out --- having the part # text go transparent on mouse-over --- and I'm also thinking of ``wiring up'' the circled part #s as well. Hopefully those will be the final clues needed to make this interface ``just work''.

One slight issue:

http://docs.shapeoko.com/content/tPictu ... 29-100.svg

is almost 15MB (drat that SVG overhead).

But saves down to a 683KB .svgz --- I get an encoding error when I try to load:

http://docs.shapeoko.com/content/tPictu ... 9-100.svgz

so I guess this is something which will need to be fixed / enabled server-side....

Okay, we're now done through the Z-axis --- that just leave 4 or 5 more to go (and for the last one, _I_ managed to find and correct some errors --- please let me know if I did that correctly).

Okay, three more are done (PS20026.svg, PS20024.svg, PS20023.svg) but are waiting to be uploaded.

Not sure about finishing the last few --- they're probably going to need compleat re-drawing, and the above are missing a couple of bolts and washers 'cause I didn't have views available of them --- I think we can manage that w/ some careful wording in the instructions (and some judicious lightening) since one isn't supposed to fully assemble them anyway.

Okay, the files have been uploaded, the .md files edited and things should be available at docs.shapeoko.com --- I'd appreciate any examination / proofreading anyone could do.

Any constructive commentary or criticism would be welcome.

Next up is going to be re-drawing each part using Macromedia Freehand and posting them to the Parts page, then re-creating each .svg w/ the re-drawn images for a better appearance and smaller file size.

I've been working at re-drawing the diagrams off-and-on.

Working on PS20021 --- it's kind of sobering the filesize changes as components are re-drawn:

1662588
1559220 --- replace M5 nut --- save 213,202 bytes

552477 --- Bolts

There's also an option for removing unneeded data:

546329 --- Vacuuming Defs

515061 Eccentric Nut
