Tutorial Section and Completed Project Gallery

Post by Sorwrith » Thu May 28, 2015 3:23 am

With the release of the Shapeoko 3 I think it would be benifical to have a tutorial section where users can post tutorials of projects they would like to share with the community, similar to what Inventables does on their site.

Also I think it would be great to have a place where people could post pictures and summaries on projects they have completed but not want to necessarily post on how they completed them, like if it was a product made for a customer.

I understand that there are these forums and the wiki but it might make the Shapeoko 3 a more enticing product for people to purchase if these types of things were readily available, without having to dig through pages and pages of information.

There's a Gallery section on the wiki. Links to:

http://www.shapeoko.com/projects/projects.php (I'm pretty certain this is linked to from the main page, at least it used to be)

among other places.

Then have been a couple of forum threads on designing projects, most recently Clockit's: http://www.shapeoko.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=6186 which is in the Member Projects area.
