which looks amazing, but I wonder how well it could work --- anyone inclined to try? Looks like it'd solve the whole dust collection problem as well.

Wow that is cool.

I would be worried about two things however...

1. Sucking dust and debris into the rotors and causing it to clog and jam.
2. Torque! It seems like if it bogged down it could be easily stopped.
Shapeoko #Classified some of the bolts may be original parts.
Shapeoko 1 # ???? Stainless plates, still in the box.

Yeah, I was thinking it might be useful for cutting foam (I need to make insets for cases).

I was about to post this, glad I looked first. Definitely an interesting idea, but I agree that the torque could be an issue. Might be worth trying out though...
