It is not clear what you ask.

TinyGV8 firmware has a set of default settings specified at compile time.
When the tinyG firmware is installed on a tinyG, those default parameters are copied to EEPROM and become the working parameters.

Since we are on the ShapeOko forum, it is appropriate to point out that the compiled-in default settings are usually NOT appropriate for
a ShapeOko machine.

Therefore, user machine specific settings must be entered into the tinyG.
For ShapeOko users, a good place to start is found at
https://github.com/synthetos/TinyG/wiki ... rsion-0.97
as well as
https://github.com/synthetos/TinyG/wiki ... eoko-Setup
and
https://github.com/synthetos/TinyG/wiki ... eoko-Notes
as well as
http://www.shapeoko.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=328

Note that there is no standardized wiring method for the ShapeOko and there are numerous mechanical variations, so the user must adapt these guidelines to meet specific implementation.

Some useful commands related to settings
$$ - List all current parameter settings ( a long list)
$ - A short list (subset of $$) showing some system parameters.
$defa=1 - This command restores the compiled-in default parameters to EEPROM (re initializes the entire parameter set)

Hope this helps
