Parameters look good.

If after check of wiring problems with X motor continue, try connecting X motor to motor2 driver and Y motor to motor 1 driver and changed parameters accordingly.
f the problemems stay with motor driver 1, you might have a defective tinyG. If problems follow the X motor(when connected to motor driver 2), then stepper or wiring are in question.

Thanks again. I check these shortly. I do have a spare tinyg g.

Forgot to mention I use Chilipeppr

ChiliPeppr, TinyG V8

A quick update. I swapped the motors via config file and wiring. The Y motor works fine as before using other driver but the X motor still behaves odd.. The X now moves in one direction only and jerks in the other direction without moving.

Is there any reason for this or should I replace my stepper motor?

I was thinking it could be that the x motor is hitting false limits in GCode. So it thinks it cannot go in one direction since it triggers a limit. I currently do not have limit switches so that is not set up in the config file. Is that possible or should I just pickup a new motor?

Edit: Changed wording in last sentence.

You should run tests with limits disabled just to be sure.
Perhaps run without belts to see if motors will free rotate first.

Sounds to me like a stepper motor issue

Thanks for all your help! You are probably right the problem follows the motor. I switched it back and it doesn't do anything except make noise. I will replace and try again soon.
