GRBL on Mega2560 - Solution

Post by noproblem » Sun Apr 06, 2014 3:27 am

Ok after searching around i found a quick solution for arduino mega 2560 on grbl

https://github.com/LETARTARE/Grbl_with_Arduino

It was very easy to install

- Download file (its on the right of screen called "Download Zip"
- Located download and extract file zip
- Copy folder I used "Grbl9dMega2560" to directory in “Arduino-xxx/libraries”
OR
- Copy folder I used "Grbl82Mega2560" to directory in “Arduino-xxx/libraries”
- Plug in your arduino 2560 to your PC
- Open arduino IDE
- Goto file >>example >>Grbl9dMega2560
- Then click upload andwait about 30 sec it should say upload done

should be no errors ( that Easy)

- Now open your Grbl Controller or UniversalGcodeSender-1.0.7 depending on which above used
- Change baud rate to 115200 and choose com
- Click Open

Disclaimer
- Reset zero on doesnt work it doesnt seem to like G10 P0 X0 Y0 Z0 it preferes G92 X0 Y0 Z0
- Not tested actual moving axis (just test on a arundino mega)
