Help! Z-axis vibrated but all else works!

Post by philIam » Sun Aug 17, 2014 7:44 pm

Hi,

I've trouble shooted everything (that i know of).

All the axis work even Z goes up but when it has to plunge down it just vibrates! As if there was a loose connection but there arn't any loose connections.

Here's what I have done:

I've ran the helloworld file and it worked great.
I have all the grbl settings set to the suggested values in the building start page
plunge rate: 2.5
feedrate 15

Odd behavior:
After i run the file and then hit -Z it acts like the homing button!

If i close out of USG restart connection it goes back to how it all was before.

Any idea of how to make this work? Makercam issue? grbl settings?

Thanks!
