I am new to CNC and experienced the same problem with jobs shutting down.
Thanks for the information, I was about to buy a new controller program.

You should add some limit switches (and I'm not just saying that because I sell a kit to do so.) Adding limit switches will greatly improve your workflow and allow you to recover if the machine crashes or you break a bit.
