Well I am not expert but you can do some easy trouble shooting problem. Switch X and Y. Plug directly to the board. Test without load (maybe just remove the belt would be fine). Play with the settings (lower speed, higher timings...). Set your amp down on the board potentiometers. Of course verify that the wiring is good and tight.
Shapeoko 1. Dual Y 1m with Name 17 (twice lower torque as the original motor). Double Xrails side to side. Acme-Z. Metalspacers.Wood 22mm waste board. Kress1050 with custom holder. Arduino GRBL + GRBL shield.

the wiring its ok, i tried to print the helloworld shapeoko with a pencil, and it only draws 1 line on the Y Axis. Its like not sending any code on the x axis

jc21, try swapping signal paths between X & Y to try to isolate the problem. This includes swapping the Pololu boards, swapping the motors, etc. You can even go as far as pulling the shield off and running jumpers between to swap the step/direction pins from the Arduino.

Can't help you there. I don't have a grblshield... I built my own stepper carrier from Stripboard.

Have you done the Z axis mod to the Grblshield?

Have you adjusted the current drivers on the board?

Well, the problem was the motor current. so its working good now manually, i tried to print the "Helloworld Shapeoko.txt" but nothing, maybe cause i'm using a mac? i'll try with a pc then.

Does anybody got a simple .nc code for a circle or something similar?

Gratz!

remember that you can manually type in commands as well (with both universale g code sender, and gcodesender) or you can do it from a terminal as well.

Just type something like X10 (to send your machine from 0,0 to 10,0). Z10 will send it up, z-10 will send it down.

Good luck!
