Grbl v1.1e released!

Post by chamnit » Sun Dec 11, 2016 12:55 am

Grbl v1.1e has been officially released! Available here: http://www.github.com/gnea/grbl/
- New real-time override command set for rapids, feed, spindle, spindle stop, and coolant toggle.
- Sweet new laser mode with a dynamic power mode that adjusts power with speed. No more scorching, regardless if your machine isn't fast.

bCNC should support v1.1 now, but it doesn't have any of the override controls buttons yet. Not sure when Vasilis can get to it. It'll require a lot of reshuffling of current layout to support them all.

Thanks for your hard work, will try it with my Phoenix CNC Controller board. I also saw the post about the LCD display and want to adapt that to OLED display and make a new controller board with I2C OLED display and grbl 1.1.

I am using GRBL 0.8

GRBL0.8 parameters $0 thru $22
GRBL1.1 parameters $0 thru $132

Where are parameter definitions?

Is there a shapeoko 2 setting file?

All of your questions may be answered on the Wiki. https://github.com/gnea/grbl/wiki

I spent all weekend updating everything for v1.1 so it should be current. Including an answer to where the settings descriptions went in the FAQ.
