Edge lit Plexiglass Night Light

This is my first go at creating a Edge Lit Plexiglass sign for a friends daughter celebrating her 4th birthday.
I milled the plexi using a 60deg v-bit for the graphic of hello kitty I then used a diamond tipped spring loaded engraving bit to etch her name into the heart. I then milled the base as a 3D milling job first cutting the top slot then doing a profile milling operation to mill out the base half way through the wood as I did not have a bit to mill all the way through. I then flipped the board and milled out the bottom to fit the electronic and widened the slot for the plexi at the bottom to hole the LED lights. I then did a second profile operation to cut the rest of the way through the wood to finish the base. I then milled a piece of aluminum to act as the bottom cover put it all together and this is the final result....
