Early tests with different materials

Hi,

Here are some of my early tests with different materials and software.

Aluminum.
Done with 1 mm endmill
Feedrate 240 mm/min
Just 0.1 mm depth increment.

Software used Halftoner 1.4

500 mm/min feedrate
1 mm depth increment

Fantastic job! I'm curious as to how many and what kind of flutes were on the endmills you used (where applicable).
Shapeoko 2 #3217 with an acme threaded rod and belt drive z axis, proxxon IBS\E spindle, NEMA23 motors on all axes, and a tiny g controller.

Great work on the rubber. What type of rubber and what bit did you use? My wife is a crafter and I would love to make her some custom stamps.

Aluminum Generic chinese 1 mm 2 flute endmill
Bakelite 3.175 mm 2 flute endmill from drillman
Rubber left one 1.5 mm generic chinese 2 flute endmill
right one 0.8 mm 2 flute endmill from drillman
All endmils with spiral flutes

Rubber is some semi hard rubber which I had at home. Really don`t know any spec of that rubber.
