My navigation on my Mazda is not that great and have to use my Phone's Google maps at times. I created this to quickly slide on when I need to use my Phone instead of the built in Nav. It stores nicely in glove and slips on and off very easily.

Great idea. I can't find it, but there was a 3D print project a few years ago to replace the center console in an RX8 with ports for a dedicated PC and additional gauges. It something I've always wanted to try.

How visible are the displays of such in sunlight?

Anyone still making / using transflective displays? I can’t find a replacement for my Fujitsu Stylistic ST-4121....
