Hi!
Just wanted to show you guys my first project with F-Engrave. I think it came out pretty good, what do you think?
Any ideas of what i could do to give it a finished product kind of look? I've done near zero woodworking so all this is pretty new to me.
This is from a 1/2 inch plywood sheet, what kind of wood would be best?
Cheers!

That is pretty badass.
I wonder how it would look with the cut filled with a red epoxy, and the Plywood painted satin black.
(Maybe add a strip of LEDs, too?)
There is not 'one right wood' for carving.
But Plywood tends to look better if it's finished in some way, while solid wood sometimes works 'bare' or just oiled or laquered.
It's just a question of what you're hoping to achieve.

A strip of LEDs is a cool idea, ill try to make a base and add a strip to it
Heres the final product.
I used dark walnut stain or oil (I dont know if its the same but something like that) and an orange paint i had laying around.
It gets way better when seen from afar
