Knife block created on SO2 for a gift

Post by diodeut » Wed Dec 09, 2015 2:22 pm

I created this knife block on my SO2 after seeing a post on Reddit-woodworking. The body and base are oak and the shield is mahogany, with a light mineral oil finish.

Thanks for looking

Very nice. I like the added touch with the lambda on the shield.

Very creative!
I would like to have one of my own, but I'm worried my youngest son would find it too interesting :?
Maybe I'll give it a try in a couple of years :)
Thanks for sharing!

Yep, that's really nifty. Any cad files available for people to attempt copying with? :)
