That turned out so well! I thought the grating was metal before reading the build log details.

Yeah there's a sparkle in the paint that really makes it pop out.
Even when i look very closely it's still very convincing. Couldn't be happier with how that paint job turned out.
Time will tell if it is durable enough...

I like the look!
And yes, Illustrator CC has a graphical fillet function, it isn't a tool. Draw a rectangle, and just inside each corner there is a little circle with a dot inside. Mouse over that, click to grab it and drag in and it will fillet the corner. I have CAD software that I use for precision stuff, so I haven't played with it enough to know how to make it a specific radius.

Cool. But nonetheless isn't it unbelievably odd it was only added in recently? I mean a feature this basic should already have been in Illustrator 1!
